Project Description
This state-of-the-art facility is located in Camden, South Carolina, a growing suburb of Columbia, the state’s capital. The law enforcement center houses all functions of the sheriff’s office, including investigations, special services and patrol. The facility also houses the coroner’s office and a morgue. Additional spaces located within the law enforcement center include an observation room, evidence storage space, and polygraph testing and fingerprinting areas.
In the interest of maintaining the surrounding neighborhood’s privacy, the building sits 50 feet from the nearest residential property line, with significant shrubbery and trees for additional separation.
